My experience at cronies was a very pleasant one. The staff was very friendly and the food was great. The portions were very generous for the price and I left full and satisfied. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for good food in a friendly, comfortable environment.

Hey Sharon! Do you know what the servers name was or what she looked like? It will be used to educate that server better and our staff. Thank you so much for letting us know about your sub standard experience Please let me know.

My husband loves the food but I did not like the service. Last Saturday we wanted to go to dinner before racing and arived at 5:30 knowing we had over 1 hour. We ordered at about 5:50 after having a drink and it took over 30 minutes to get our chicken legs and my order was wrong. I did not want to say anything because we waited this long and only had less then 30 minutes to eat and get to the track. The server blamed the new cook. Good food but the service needs to be more professional and in tune with the customer.

Hey Anetta! Could you please explain the following? Do you know the name of your server? If not, could you explain what she looked like? What menu items did you order & what was wrong with it? What time did you dine? Where did you sit? If you answer those ?'s Anetta, I truly appreciate you letting me know about your bad experience here at Cronies. Although we get very few complaints, when we get those complaints it is very important to our success because without those complaints we can't improve to become the very best which I personally strive to do everyday! I hope you give us another chance because this time your dining experience will be on me. Do me one other favor. Call (815)282-2262 after 3 p.m. and ask for Tim (I am the owner) tell me what evening you will be here, (so I know to be here) after you have completed your meal ask for me and I will come meet you, ask how your experience was & pay for your meal. Once again, without guests like you letting us know about your substandard experience Cronies Grill cannot improve it's performance. Thank you so much!

Just left my first and last visit to Cronies. The service was deplorable and the food mediocre at best. We had to seek out a server who then essentially ignored us. My fish sandwich consisted of 2 hard and overcooked fish sticks that filled about 1/2 of the bun, which is sad considering tonight was ayce fish night.

My son just turned 16 and since we take our kids out for a *birthday dinner* every year and he is a wing finantic, he chose Cronies. We arrived at approximately 5:10 pm, were *noticed* at 5:20 and finally served some food at 5:55pm. There were six of us at the table with only 4 having the all you can eat wing special. The place was not busy at all, and I feel that taking more then a half hour for wings is a bit much? The food was good when it did arrive, and when we ordered more wings it was still another 30 minutes to get them? place still wasn't busy? The waitress didnt seem to concerned that we were getting a little antsy waiting for our meal. On the third attempt for wings, we did place an order for those when she brought the second set, but still had to wait at least 25 minutes. Poor service will keep me from returning.
