Gregg Rolie, founding member of Journey and Santana to Headline on the Oasis Stage at OTW 2010!
Rockford, Ill. - Illinois' largest street festival, On the Waterfront, announced today that the founding member of both Journey and Santana, Gregg Rolie, will headline at the 27th annual Labor Day Weekend festival on the Oasis Stage Sunday, September 5th.
Gregg Rolie is responsible for co-founding two phenomenally popular, multi-platinum groups, SANTANA and JOURNEY. In 1998, the world class keyboardist-vocalist-producer was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame as part of the original Santana band. In addition to launching the band, Rolie also co-produced Santana's first four groundbreaking albums.
Rolie's singing talents will forever be immortalized by his unforgettable lead vocals on classic Santana greatest hits including "Black Magic Woman," "Evil Ways" and the Tito Puente composition "Oye Como Va."
The Gregg Rolie Band is composed of four musicians from Santana, two of which are now in the Rock 'n Roll Hall Of Fame, and three other highly accomplished players.
