Country music artist Lee Brice will be surprised with a gift from the city of Rockford during his performance at the On the Waterfront music festival on the Center Stage Friday, September 3rd around 11:30pm.

Why will Lee Brice be presented an award? 52 WEEKS, AFTER 52 YEARS: For the first time since 1958, a song has spent a year on Billboard's Country Songs chart.

Bulleting at its peak to-date of No. 5 in its 52nd chart week, Lee Brice's "Love Like Crazy" becomes just the third title to rack a year on country Songs since the chart launched in 1944.

"Love Like Crazy" debuted the week of Sept. 5, 2009, at No. 58. It reached the top 40 in its 11th week and the top 10 in its 46th week, completing the longest trek to the top 10! If Lee remains on the chart just a couple more weeks he will also BREAK all records and have the longest running record on county billboard music charts!

Lee just happens to be IN ROCKFORD playing as he celebrates this milestone in country music. To celebrate this occasion the Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery, On The Waterfront and Rockford �s Country Station Q98.5 will �SURPRISE� Lee on the Center Stage at the end of his performance Friday evening with a custom designed award.

Steve Summers of Q98.5 along with a few of Tilted Kilt�s famous Tilt Girls will present the award to Lee somewhere between 11:30 and midnight.
