11/26/2010 - "Weighed Wade" Blog #5

Today I got my meal schedule, and what I can and cannot eat. I learned about glycemic levels and what foods can spike high sugar levels, and ones that slowly release, or maintain throughout the day.
 
The interesting foods, I actually can't wait to try, are bison or buffalo. I'm a huge meat eater, and it sucked to find out I couldn't have any red meat or pork. Well, I can, but it's not recommended. I also learned there are other great meats out there that are a lot leaner to eat such as venison and ostrich. Think about it, those animals run, but pigs and cows just sit all day.
 
I also got my schedule for working out and cardio training. My next week is jam-packed with activity, so I guess that's when it officially begins. At that point, I will just blog about it once a week, or if needed. I will be posting some videos and pictures, so please stay tuned for more "Weighed Wade."
 
I also found a great substitute for beer. It's called water, and it happens to be one of the ingredients in beer. Imagine that! Even though I do miss the hops, water doesn't give me a hangover.
