Spread some cheer this holiday season! Stop by any of these locations between December 12th-18th, and drop off a new, unwrapped toy ($5-$15 value).

The first Holiday Tweet Drive was planned in only six weeks and grew much quicker than expected. Founder Harrison Kratz initially envisioned ten events, but that number quickly grew to 25 by the beginning of December after beginning the planning process mid-October. With the help of over 70 volunteers around the country, partnerships from brands such as PopChips, Auntie Anne's, and the Yankees' Curtis Granderson, the first Tweet Drive saw over 2,000 collected toys, $7,500 donated to local charities, 1 Mashable article and hundreds of smiles both young and old throughout the holiday season.

Coupled with holiday cheer, social atmospheres, and the warm feeling of giving back to children during the holidays, the Tweet Drive initiative was born and had a strong voice moving forward.

For our 2nd annual Holiday Tweet Drive, we are going global to spread holiday cheer through social media during the week of December 12th through the 18th. Events for the Holiday Tweet Drive are primarily set-up to collect new toys for under-privileged children within each event's local community.

Aside from the charity aspect, our events are all Tweet-ups meant to connect our online communities in an off-line setting. Whether a city has a large turnout or just a small gathering at the local Happy hour hot spot, it is all about community! Our events are built through organizers, champions, and partners all willing to come together for some tweet drivin' and social good.
