Warm cider donuts, caramel apples, and cider slush can be purchased from our kitchen. For a fun family outing enjoy the experience of picking your own apples, pumpkins, and raspberries. -All of our tress are grafted onto a semi-dwarf rootstock called EMLA-26
-With proper care on this rootstock, the tree should maintain a 10'-12' height and a width of 10'
-We have a planting density of 230 trees per acre
-We have 17 varieties of apples which spans the season from late August to early November, and from tart to sweet apples
-Spraying is a necessary and vital tool in producing a crop that the public will want
-Springtime is a critical time for control of specific pest and diseases.
-Insects such as codling moth, apple maggot, leaf hoppers, and plum curcullio. We use insecticides so these pests won't infest the fruit and/or leaves
-Pruning trees in dormant season (Winter) will create new growth in spring time(eventually to fruiting wood).
-Only 2 year or older trees will make fruiting buds which form in the summer.
-Environmental problems such as early spring frost, wind, hail, storms, drought, and too much rain can all affect the present and future crop of the trees.
