Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center provides exciting, personal, interactive music experiences for all. Founded in 1884, the Mendelssohn PAC is the oldest continuous community music organization of its kind in the United States. Mendelssohn PAC presents live performances by local and world renowned artists every year. The Mendelssohn Youth Program includes choirs, a Young Musicians Recital Series, workshops, master classes and the Chandler Starr Miller Scholarship Competition. Local performing artist members participate in concerts and other events, and in performing groups such as the Mendelssohn Chamber Orchestra and Mendelssohn Chorale.
